My Weight loss guide

Hey beauties...Happy morning!!It's a new day..Praise be to God alone !Well how many got excited looking at the title?Hahh! The word weight loss always gives me a doze of excitement but when it comes to doing it,it becomes a total disappointment lol .Many ppl I know have been asking me about my weight loss and highly requested me to share tips(well i'm here sitting like a potato with a jar of nutella).Anyhow I'm not a person who strives to get a body like Angelina Jolie's..but what i call "I'm proud of my own body".
To each is own,not all have the same physique..few are lucky to have it juts like that,well I fall under the major part(never ever getting it).There's no use comparing yourself to models on TV. They are  getting paid and it's their fate.But i feel much blessed than that i can rule my own body.I'm my own guru and end up satisfying myself with the way i want to look.
My main objective is to maintain as i am.Yea I was on the loosing spree few years back.I have a hourglass body.I'm a 5'3 and weigh between 112-116 lbs.
Aye..nutella is my diet food!!

My weight loss routine:
I weighed around 143 lbs years back (2010).I had a real uneven lifestyle,like i'd lose weight and end up gaining weight consecutively.Later when i entered college i knew this is not how i wanted myself to be.I'm a person who makes it possible to fit myself inside my old skirts and jeans(and i still do;)).So i made up my mind,of course it was really hard at 1st to see myself in the mirror,those horrible nights thinking how would I do and what would I do, but in spite of all those traumas running in my head,the following day I'd wake up to a new me with some kinda motivation.My main  motivation was myself and I'll always be (that's the best kind of motivation).
Make sure your not the same person you were yesterday(in a good way).I get self motivated,saying to myself yea if I've already done it then I'm totally capable of doing it again,regardless of the time and effort all that went on my mind was "I'm able to".I totally knew it's not gonna happen overnight but I say Hard-work and determination totally pays off!It took me almost 1.5 years approx to lose 15 kgs.
I Had this goal as to lose 1 kg/month(or more if that happens by luck :D)Slow and steady is always better when it comes to losing weight.I don't believe in crash diet (this is my rule and that's how i role)i like to eat what i want but the key is "MODERATION" which is very important.

Analyzing:
Let me say I'm on my perfect routine(my routine is described below)and suddenly there comes a change in my routine.By change I mean I start eating something out of the way (way to much let's say guffing on some choco chip cookies everyday)and after few months (maybe 2 months),I regularly check my weight,but u know weight breaks in like a thief and never goes away sigh!And all of a sudden I could see an increase in weight.So which means cookies are not something that i eat on a daily basis but there are times when that suddenly gets added and gets along for awhile,and when u rarely notice it,you end up weighing few pounds more not knowing how?(hope u know what i mean).

And that's when this analyzing phase comes to help you.When you start analyzing what you've been gobbling in the past days,you'll get to know that something which was not part of your daily routine took a new start,and that's the reason for this sudden increase in weight.I usually get flabby around my arms and that's when I know the risk is increasing,as my air bags get bigger n bigger :D.
So now that the time has come..I'll just sit,relax,wonder and start to cry like there's no tomorrow.But hold on I'm my own motivation(so this is wen u become your very own hero or heroine maybe?).I'd say to myself,I can do this(with tears rolling down my eyes),just a little time and I'm there(always remember nothing happens overnight).But when u start something it all comes with the flow and you'll never know until you've finally achieved.

My workout plan:
I love home workout.Not a gym person,feels very comfortable at home,all by myself.I have a tred mill and few dumb bells (calls that my home gym).


  1. When i first started working out I started with the least,20 mins of walking in my tred mill and later I'd end up flat in my bed (stamina takes a while to build up).
  2. After a month I started to walk for 30 mins,slowly increasing.And within this 30 mins i'd have few mins of jogging and running (a total 5 mins).
  3. And then moved on to 40 mins of walking and 10 mins of jogging,after every 20 mins or in between(no rules as such).

-Now I walk for 30 mins(jog included)and another 30 mins I do a free body workout i.e:lunges,air cycling,squats,tummy workouts,stretches and jumping around like crazy(this freaking helps a lot). I try to workout 5-6 days a week(not lying :/).

Food routine:
Lover of junk food what else should i say?sigh!Chocolates played a major role right back then,so I knew what I was overdoing(the analyzing time).And I tried to avoid it,not completely but almost.

BREAKFAST:A bowl of cereal with milk or fruits/bread&nutella (oh boy i wouldn't mind eating it fr all my 3 meals).

LUNCH:It's compulsory that we take it at least a bowl of rice,carbs are very much important for energy and tissue building. So I take in a bowl of rice with any gravy(non veg is compulsory for me)and some cooked veggies. In case you still feel half empty,can go for a roti along with the rice,it helps you feel full.

DINNER:I take in 2 chapathi's with the same curry/gravy I had for lunch .In case I don't feel full with my meal,I cook in some sprouts and have them or I'll boil some eggs and have the whites alone.

SNACKS:This is actually the most important meal I'd say.What u eat in between makes a whole lot of difference.My main key for this is "SUBSTITUTION".Ok..what i do is when i have cravings for something sweet I'd have fruits instead of a bar of chocolate or cookies.And if i wanna have something salty and tasty I'd cook myself some sprouts(water,salt and pressure cook)just 5 mins ur good to go(this is my all time fav)very healthy and very filling.I usually have it before I'm about to start my workout.I'll have a cup of green tea after I finish my workout,it totally refreshes me and helps in my metabolism to.Green tea only helps you lose weight along with exercise.No to soft drinks,a little at times that's ok but it's never a good thing.Another important note is that drinking green tea alone wouldn't help you lose weight.It only works together with regular exercise.

DESSERTS: HAH!How can i forget the best part.No substitute for cakes,creams and chocolate.Only that matter's is the key "moderation".In case u have a bar of chocolate make sure u jus have a single pc or a max  2 pc .This way u get to eat as well as be in control and your not depriving yourself(hopefully that makes sense).
Above all the most important thing is water.Drink a whole lot.It flushes out the unwanted toxins and leaves ur body hydrated and feeling fresh.



Tip:
It's always necessary to change your workout routine,in the sense you can change your tred mill settings.If you usually walk for the first 10 mins and jog for the rest 5 mins,after few weeks you can change to 5 mins of walking and 2 mins of jogging and then the same applies (hope you get what I'm saying here).Cuz there's a scientific reason behind this I came across sometime back.When u maintain the same old workout and food routine,ur mind tends to make a strong signal imagining this is how it is supposed to work and it will stay put in the maintaining phase.So when u change your workout routine by twisting the tred mill or cycling setting,it's like your brain gets a shock and starts working out differently.Though the calories u lose and the time u spend is the same,this thing tricks your body and helps you lose weight(i know it's weird but it works).


NOTE:
Losing weight naturally and slowly is the best way,so i chose it.If you are looking out for long term results then this one is for u.Anonther important thing is that if you unnaturally lose weight(using steriods)you will end up having so many side effects in the long run,and incase you choose to lose weight quickly,it will leave your boy sagging (which is totally not sexy :×).I hate depriving myself when it comes to food.We are meant to be happy and eat out as our heart desires.Eating well sure does add to a good and healthy life.I hate the term diet.When you start depriving yourself to the things you love,you'll eventually start hating your life(it seems like your under a rule and nobody likes rules isn't?).Even if you start with it,I'm pretty sure it's never gonna last any longer.Eventually you'll start moving out and end up eating more and all that weight you had lost in the past days,will end up increasing twice the amount you actually lost.Common it's your body,your life,be your own boss.Eat much and be content,but being fit and not gluttony is what i mean.Cause our body is the temple of God.Making it look and feel good will always have a positive vibe in our lives.

Our body is the temple of God.Keeping it clean and fit always makes our life happier.When u feel good inside and outside,confidence becomes your bestfriend.Keep that smile on and rock it.
Exercises are not only meant for people who are overweight but for everyone,nomatter fat or lean,shedding some of your energy and sweat will keep you away from unwanted health problems and help you have an active life.Regular exercise dosent only give you a toned body,but also a perfect skin.When the sweat comes out,all the unwanted dirt comes out leaving your skin clean and fresh(acne can be kept at bay).
And please note that the above-mentioned information is my own.This might work for some,just as it did for me and for others it might take time.So dont lose hope...get started,workout and reward yourself.You'll be there in no time.Hope this helped ya'll :).Cheers to a new beginning..!!
